Jimmy Fallon’s big announcement of Mechanical

Rumored to be released on cassette, the album will be dropped digitally, being purchasable
on iTunes, in CD format at your local record shop and online or on vinyl.
As any
dedicated fan will tell you, all of their albums have been recorded in
Nashville Tennessee, aside from 2010’s Come
Around Sundown which was recorded in New York, New York and each album has five syllables in its name. In saying that
fans will be happy to hear that Mechanical bull was recorded in KOL’s brand new
studio and produced with long time producer and band friend Angelo Petraglia,
who produced 2008’s Only By The Night with hits like Use Somebody,
and Sex on Fire. Bassist Jared also tweeted that the new album sounds ‘young’
and like a ‘mix of (previous albums) Youth
and Young Manhood and Because of the
Times.’
The
Kings have been recording since March of this year, and have
been eager to show it off. The band showcased some of the new songs at the
Governor’s Ball in New York on Saturday night. Be sure to check out the performance of a new song!
